CET Technologies Inc. and Edge Cloud Forge Partnership to Modernize Cebu Provincial Government IT Infrastructure

CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES — July 14, 2026 — In a significant move to bolster local government digital services, CET Technologies Inc. and Edge Cloud Technology & Solutions have officially launched a strategic partnership to deliver advanced Virtual Private Server (VPS) solutions to the Provincial Government Office of Cebu.

This Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) initiative is designed to equip the Provincial Capitol with highly manageable, scalable, and secure virtual server resources. The deployment will directly support a range of the province's core public service systems, ensuring robust performance and continuity for essential citizen services.

Strengthening Operational Resilience

The new virtual infrastructure will act as a modernized technological backbone for the provincial government. By leveraging the combined expertise of CET Technologies and Edge Cloud, the Provincial Capitol aims to strengthen its data management, improve network reliability, and ensure uninterrupted operations across its various departments.

Transitioning to a dedicated VPS environment allows the local government to maintain highly secure and rapidly recoverable systems, safeguarding crucial operational records and enhancing overall disaster resilience.

Project Kick-off at the Provincial Capitol

The partnership officially commenced today, July 14, with a project kick-off meeting held at the Provincial ICT Office. The event marked the beginning of the deployment phase and brought together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

Representing the Provincial Government of Cebu was Ms. Marie Jeanette A. Saluba, Head of Provincial Information and Communication Technology Office, who welcomed the technological upgrade. CET Technologies Inc. was represented by General Manager Jojo Ciano, alongside the specialized technical deployment team from Edge Cloud Technology & Solutions headed by their CEO & Technical Director Mr. Darwin Cabiluna.

This collaboration highlights a continuing commitment to digital transformation within the Central Visayas region, ensuring that the Provincial Government of Cebu remains equipped to deliver efficient and secure modern services to its constituents.
